Implementation Roadmap for Blended Learning
We "Help Move Every Student As Far As They Can As Fast As They Can" by anchoring all of of our methods and tools to performance indicators defined by research and established standards.
Standards and Indicators for Continuous School Improvement outline the elements of systemic improvement within Colorado schools at elementary, middle, and high school levels necessary to ensure student success. The standards are composed of performance indicators that are configured into our School Observation Toolkit supporting our Diagnostic Review (DR) and Progress Monitoring (PM) methodologies to objectively assess and monitor school-level performance.

This University of Virginia Partnership for Leaders in Education report explains that for schools in turnaround to be successful the district must be mobilized to support the turnaround implementation. We believe that a Readiness Assessment, based on the criteria outlined in this report, should be a part of every turnaround or innovation implementation plan. Our diagnostic capabilities address the "readiness" and "mobilization" demands that turnaround schools place on their districts.

The Unified Improvement Plan (UIP) is intended to provide districts a consistent format to capture improvement planning efforts. To assist with that process, the UIP Quality Standards offer guidance for creating an improvement plan that incorporates all of the state accountability and federal requirements. Our UIP Development Workshops are structured to ensure school UIPs conform to these requirements.

According to the Coalition for Community Schools (CAS), at least 5,000 U.S. schools have been transformed into community schools. Global forces are driving this change including new immigration patterns and income-based achievement gaps. The Community School model couples accepted aspects of school improvement - leadership, curriculum, capacity-building, student-centered climate, community engagement - with a “whole child” approach to education.
